Everyone wants to be thinner than we are. This desperation to be thinner makes it very easy for unscrupulous companies and people to take advantage of us for our hard earned money. I have tried everything on the market to get rid of my cellulite and have found that virtually none of them work well. I just recently came across the procedure called mesotherapy and was very skeptical at first. I usually go into these procedures and buy these products very wary of what will happen and most of the time I am let down. I decided to do a lot of research before taking a chance on mesotherapy and found that the more I learned the more impressed I was with the concept. I eventually decided to go ahead and take the plunge and undergo mesotherapy and I was pleasantly surprised. Many of you do not really know what mesotherapy is so I want to give a bit of a background to the best of my knowledge since I am not a physician.
Mesotherapy is done by injecting a number of medications into the middle layer of the skin called the mesoderm. I have found that a lot of these medications and vitamins are traditional ones and then there are some homeopathic ones used too. The goal of the mesotherapy treatments is to bring the healing vitamins and medications to the site of the problem in a specific body part or area. The doctors say that it is used specifically for body sculpting, cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation. I have to say that I could not agree more. I would have used different terms for what mesotherapy did for me since I am no doctor but the bottom line is that mesotherapy did what they said it would do. Mesotherapy works and I am proud to say that I am a shining example of the effectiveness of it.
The main reason that men and women seek out the mesotherapy procedures is to eliminate the cellulite they have hanging around their body. Actually many of the people I saw at the doctor's office looked rather trim. I would assume that they too have trouble spots of cellulite that only they can see that they want mesotherapy to get rid of. Not sure what cellulite looks like? Well basically cellulite looked like a cottage cheese seeming dimply bumpy texture to your skin. The lower half of our bodies seems to be where the majority of the cellulite resides. I read something that I was not sure of until I began reading up on mesotherapy and that is that cellulite is not necessarily caused by being overweight, that it is normal in humans.
I never thought I would learn so much about fat and cellulite as I did researching the mesotherapy process but since I learned it I will share what I know. Cellulite shows up in the subcutaneous skin level. The fat cells are in groupings that are connected by stuff called septae. When our body holds onto water the fat cells grow and stretch out the connective stuff. The tissue eventually shrinks again and hardens leaving the skin in a rigid spot and later the body tissue continues to expand with our weight gain and water retention. When the body changes the lumpy cellulite appearance occurs. Wow that was quite a mouthful and I hope that you got a bunch of it. The bottom line is whether you know what causes cellulite or not you likely know what it is and how it looks and that you want to get rid of it. That is where mesotherapy comes into play.
Do not take my word for it about mesotherapy working. Do all of your research and talk to the necessary people to see if mesotherapy is right for you. If you find that it is something you want go ahead and take the plunge as well. I found that the procedure helped to improve the blood flow to my body parts, it got rid of stubborn fat clumps, from what I can see the connective tissue that I spoke about a bit ago has been softened and eliminated and lastly I am told that my lymphatic drainage was made better. I do not know what that is but I am told that it is a good thing.
